FAQ

Common questions

Is this course HRD Corp claimable?

Yes. The training is delivered in partnership with Novas Academy Sdn Bhd (COID: 202301006028), an HRD Corp registered training provider. Registered employers can claim under the Skim Bantuan Latihan KHAS scheme. We assist you with the application via HRD Corp e-TRiS before the training date, and provide the required PSMB/SBL-Khas/JD/14 form for claim submission after completion.

How long is the course and is it residential?

The full course runs 2 consecutive days, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM each day. It is a physical, hands-on programme — not residential. We typically run it at your workplace so that your team trains in the actual environment they’ll respond in.

What's the minimum and maximum class size?

For effective hands-on learning, we recommend a minimum of 8 and a maximum of 25 participants per session. Larger teams can be split across multiple cohorts.

What language is the training conducted in?

The course can be delivered in English or Bahasa Malaysia, depending on your participants’ preference. Materials are provided in both languages.

Do participants get a certificate?

Yes. All participants who complete the course (including the practical and theoretical assessments) receive a digital Certificate of Attendance issued by Novas Academy Sdn Bhd.

Do you provide the equipment for the practical sessions?

Yes. Our trainers bring CPR manikins (adult, child, and infant), training AED units, bandaging supplies, and all consumables required for the hands-on modules. Your venue only needs to provide a training room with movable furniture.

Can the course be customised for our industry?

Yes. While the core syllabus follows national first aid standards and AHA guidelines, the mock drill scenarios on Day 2 can be customised to your workplace — for example, factory floor injuries, office cardiac events, or school playground incidents.
